Vignoles is a hybrid grape that was developed in the late 1920s by French grape scientist, Jean Fancois Ravatis.  The wine is a fruit medley with a savory punch with noticeable aromas of pineapple, peach, and raw honey.  It is deliciously rich and tropical with bright confectionery notes.  The succulent burst of flavors is somewhat sweet with an invigorating finish.  Vignoles is very nice with spicy dishes. Pork loin works well when prepared with some of the aromatic notes of the wine.  In addition, the wine will pair well with semi-firm cheeses and also works well as a marinade to add a touch of sweetness to chicken or lamb.
