Finger Lakes International Wine Competition Awards

  Each year, during the month of March,  the world's largest charitable wine competition, The Finger Lakes International Wine Competition, takes place in Rochester, New York. This competition brings together international wines and judges to benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times. In 2015, 3708 wines were entered from 27 countries and all 50 states along with 6 Canadian Provinces. Judging were 73 of the world's top judges from over 20 counties including Spain , France, Argentina and Hungary. Each wine is judged on its own presence, balance and varietal character. RAYMOR ESTATE CELLARS is proud to have earned Silver Medals for both its Sunburst Riesling and Sunset Red. We would love to have you come and taste these award winning wines at our Tasting Room ( open Saturdays from 1-5 PM) or the University of Rochester Farmers' Market that takes place in the atrium at Strong Hospital on Wednesdays from 3-6 PM.
